Chili Cookoff!

I got the opportunity to go to the biggest Redneck bash of the year for the second year in a row. This year I wasn't forgetting my camera. I met some really interesting people and promised them I would post their pics on my blog...
I had a blast playing "fake AJC journalist" all night, that is until the Wicked Rebel Brew caught up to me and I had to safely store the camera away.

Saint Simons: Part 2 (all about Owen)

So, it's widely known that my nephew, Owen is the cutest kid in the world. And soon there will be another one (perhaps the female version) of him running around! The family met us in Saint Simons and I just had to post these pictures I took of him.

Saint Simons: Part 1

Recently, my husband Ben and I got away for the weekend and took a trip to Saint Simons Island. We picked up his mom on the way down and had a great time on our little road trip. Saint Simons is a beautiful and art-inspiring place even though it rained most of the time. I wandered around a little bit (between the thunderstorms) and here are some pics I took. I just love exploring and finding art in nature...

Portrait of the Artist...

Hello everyone, and thank you for visiting my site! I thought I would join the rest of the world and start blogging. Not only is this a great way to show off some of my new work, but it also gives me something to do while my husband watches football!
I'm very excited about the arrival of Fall. It's my favorite time of the year by far and today's cooler weather has me itching to light a fire in the fireplace (not quite yet though). October is going to be a busy and exciting month for me. I have 3 weddings and I know they are going to be awesome! Stay tuned for those posts...
I thought I would start my first blog with my most latest shoot. I recently got to talking with my neighbor, Katina and discovered that she is a brilliant artist! And she found out that I was as well :) She hired me to take some portraits of her for some marketing materials she is putting together. I think they turned out pretty well...
