Little Noah

My husband, Ben and I just got in a little while ago from Jacksonville, FL. We were there a few weeks ago to visit Ben's very pregnant sister, Amy. This time we were back to visit the very non-pregnant Amy and meet our new little nephew, Noah! If you've read my blog from the beginning (which hasn't been long!) then you've already been introduced to the cutest kid in the world, Owen. Well, he'll soon have to defend that title as his little brother Noah is a close second (and gaining)!
We got to meet little Noah last night. The only issue right now is that he is still at the hospital in NICU. I can't quite remember the medical term (Amy, can you help me out?) but little Noah was born with a hole in his Lung. He's a trooper, though, and day by day he's getting better. The doctor's have taken him off of alot of the machines he was on and now he just has a tube in his nose helping him regulate his oxygen. Amy even got to hold him today for the first time since he was born. He's doing so well and so strong and I know he'll be out of there soon. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts that he'll recover quickly and come home to Amy, Brian and Owen soon:) Here are a few pics I took at the hospital.

Another perk to this trip was that we got to babysit Owen while Amy and Nana were at the hospital. Playing with him is like being a kid again....well, except he wears us out after about an hour! It ain't like it used to be...(sigh). Here are some pics I took of Owen during our time together.

When we first got there, he was napping like a little angel...

But then, Uncle Ben woke him up and it was on!

He took us out back and showed us his new swing set

One....Two...Three...

Blast-Off!!!!!
Down the slide...

And back on the swing...

Then inside to do a puzzle...

It was a great trip and hope we can go back soon when Noah is home for good. More pictures to come!
